Description
N°5, the quintessential feminine. A floral bouquet of aldehydes is contained in a recognizable, minimalist bottle. A classic, iconic scent.
To create “a woman’s perfume with a woman’s scent,” something rare and potent, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to do it in 1921. Her nose met a composition that was so innovative that it used aldehydes in ways never seen before. After selecting the fifth sample of the fragrance, Mademoiselle gave it the moniker N°5. She chose a bottle with an innovative design. Complete with a white label and a faceted cabochon on top, this new fragrance. Jacques Polge developed the eau de parfum, a more elaborate version of N°5, in 1986. The Chanel nose since 1978, who reinterpreted the composition of his predecessor.
The eau de parfum is available as a spray for silky, seamless application on clothes or skin. The travel-friendly format of the fragrance spray allows you to carry it with you wherever you go and refresh the notes of the scent throughout the day. To improve the scent trail of the fragrance, a full body and bath perfuming ritual is also offered.
