Description
Hugo Boss Orange is a woody spicy fragrance for men that was introduced in 2011. Its main accords include vanilla, warm spices, woody, and fruity. Suitable for daytime wear from spring to fall, the fragrance has a moderate sillage and longevity. Head notes of apple and coriander take center stage, while heart notes of Sichuan pepper and incense add more complexity. The fragrance is balanced by base notes of woodsy and vanilla.
In 1924, Hugo Boss established his uniform company in Metzingen, Germany. After seven years of struggling with his business, he started selling uniforms to the Nazi Party and joined them. It was impossible for him to carry on operating his business after World War II. After his death in 1948, ownership and leadership responsibilities were assumed by his son-in-law Eugen Holy. The company started producing ready-made suits for men. The business reached the required growth in 1985 to be listed for public trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. That same year saw the release of the first fragrance.
