In April 2011, the company Mont Blanc released a brand-new men’s fragrance. Legend is devoted to admirable, moral, self-assured men who are brave, passionate, and real. Their scent is understated, powerful, and manly. Oliver, the perfumer responsible for this new fougere creation, combined notes that suggest power and tenderness, tradition and modernity, in an attempt to create a fragrance full of contrasts. Fresh, fragrant tones of bergamot, lavender, pineapple leaf, and exotic verbena (Litsea cubeba) greet the listener as the composition opens. The oakmoss note (evernyl molecule) is dominant in the heart, blended with notes of dried fruit (geranium, coumarin, apple, rose, and Pomarosa molecule). Tonka, evernyl, and sandalwood make up the base.
Inspired by the iconic Meister stick pen design, this heavy, slightly curved bottle comes in black and metallic colors. It is made of glass and metal. The elegant and understated design is ideal for the idea behind this fragrance. Simon Clark appears in the monochromatic ad.
