In April 2016, Burberry unveiled Mr. Burberry, a new scent that is a masculine take on the brand’s 2014 My Burberry. Fragrance creator Francis Kurkdjian is the creator of this line.
Mr. Burberry is the formula of a traditional aromatic fougère. That has served as the model for a number of well-known scents. However, it has been completely redesigned and refined to present a radically modern creation in terms of both ingredients and proportions.”
The composition is described as herbal-woody. The heritage of British perfumery served as inspiration for its constituents. Vibrant notes of grapefruit, cardamom, and tarragon greet the palate. A base of sandalwood, vetiver, and guaiac wood follows the heart notes of cedar, birch leaf, and nutmeg oil.
The same gabardine material that Burberry uses to create its renowned trenchcoats is used to decorate the glass bottles’ necks. Josh Whitehouse, pictured with Amber Anderson and directed by Steve McQueen, is the campaign’s face. With the extra cosmetic collection, the fragrance is offered in Eau de Toilette volumes of 30, 50, 100, and 150 ml.
